Safer Streets, Stronger Communities

Safer Lyfe Pty Ltd is a Rockingham-based social enterprise
born from a simple overnight question at Rough It 4
Rockingham (2022): How can we make tonight safer for
People sleeping rough? With Owen’s lived experience and
Kris and Roxanne’s frontline view of the rental crisis through
real estate, we saw the gaps up close, families storing their
lives, couch surfing, and sleeping rough across
Rockingham, Kwinana, and Mandurah.

We exist to reduce harm, restore dignity and increase
choice for people doing it tough. We work locally with
lived-experience voices, services, councils and community
partners to deliver practical safety solutions and advocacy
that make a difference right now, while broader systems
change takes time. The Owen Farmer Foundation Ltd has
been set up to raise much-needed funds for our homeless
and rough sleepers. We are still awaiting DGR status.

Every safer night matters.
